Firstlight The K Club Wins International Property Award
Firstlight The K Club, a fractional real estate development in Ireland, has won the Best Golf Development category in the Europe & Africa Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards.
Project director Catherine Monaghan said: “This award confirms the outstanding facilities and quality of the properties offered at The K Club and we are pleased to be a winner across the competitive Europe and African category.”
Organiser Stuart Shield said: “Every year we see entries from new countries keen to grab the limelight and, as this competition has proved over the years, innovation, flair, imagination and originality knows no bounds. This makes the results of the competition extremely exciting.”
Entries were judged by a panel of professionals including Ben Wood, industry head property markets of Google UK; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals; Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects, Hendrik Nelde, president of FIABCI Belgium; Helen Shield, editor-in-chief of International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Sven Johns, CEO of the German Real Estate Association.
Introductory prices for the properties range from €131,500 (£108,100) for an eighth share in a two-bedroom apartment (1215 square feet) and go up to €330,000 (£273, 745) for a four-bedroom house (3,800 square feet).
On the grounds of The K Club Golf and Spa Resort in County Kildare, 22 miles from Dublin, Firstlight The K Club owners will benefit from full family membership of the K Club, including its two championship golf courses, venue of the 2006 Ryder Cup and host to the European Open from 1995 to 2007.
